Presents vs. Coal Justification PowerPoint

I think that my daughter's teachers have been influenced by the following Microsoft commercial, in which a young boy prepares a PowerPoint presentation on the benefits of dog ownership:

Today I received via email the following presentation from Madi.  Hers didn't have sound, but the basic idea is the same.   Although I'm not easily swayed, I'm pleased that the school is teaching PowerPoint in the fourth grade! Ah, technology.

ps - Madi confirmed that the teachers did have them watch the Microsoft commercial.
